Term 1 week 4 electronics session

This week on Wednesday we had an electronics session with Andrew. We learnt about positive and negative sides of a battery. We also did some things with led's. In this photo I am testing my strength.

This is a good book if you like the dairy of a wimpy kid series you would probably like it

Summary - 
Dairy of a basketball hero is about a boy named Marcus. The thing about Marcus is that he is a very non-sporty boy but his dad is a self-help author and he thinks that his son can be a good sports player if he sets his mind to it. Later in the book his Dad says that he has signed him up for the girls basketball team. From then on every thing turns to custard and he makes a fool of himself but he ends up scoring the winning goal. At the end his dad says "the way you were handling the ball on the courts make me think that you would be great at tennis".  I will look forward to reading the others.

W2 T1 reflection

This week for our numeracy we did a tally chart with a buddy, my buddies were Oliver, Callum and Kaleb. We chose to do it about Mamaku's favourite super rugby team. In the end the favourite team was the Hurricanes. For literacy we did a list of 10 things. My list was about my favorite ten rugby players.  My favourite rugby player is Beauden Barrett. In class our teacher is reading holes we did an activity where we had to set the seen by drawing it.

Welcome to 2017
This week for typing the year sixes got a student that didn't have a Chromebook so the year five got to share my Chromebook. My two buddies names are Kash and Seamus. Kash is a year six but his Chromebook has broken. Seamus is looking forward to taking his Chromebook home. My favorite thing that we did this week was draw on a mamaku fern about the things we like. Here are the results for our typing test.
