Diary of a rugby champ

Author - Shamini Flint

Diary of a rugby champ is a book about a boy named Marcus who is not sporty but his dad is certain that he will find the sport that he is good at. Marcus's dad is a self help author and Marcus never seems to relate to his dads books. One day his dad signs him up for the club rugby team Marcus was not happy because he thought he was going to get hurt badly. In the end he manages to get the school bully on his side and manage to end up as a rugby champ.

My favorite bit in the book is when Marcus scores the winning drop kick and then his dad says rugby is dangerous but the way you kicked the ball makes me think you world be great at taekwondo.

Dairy of a soccer star

Diary of a soccer star is 1 book out of quite a big series.

The main character is a boy named Marcus Atkinson and he is really not what you call a soccer star. But his Dad is determined to find the sport that Marcus will be good at.

I recommend you to read this book and find out how Marcus scores a goal  in a way that nobody will have seen before.

literacy Reflection week 5 Term 1

This week for literacy we were focusing on goal setting. For literacy we had to do two writing goals and two reading goals.

For literacy we also had to choose a topic to write facts about . I chose to write about the Wahine disaster because I know a tiny bit about it.

For numeracy this week we also
focused on goal setting. We had to set goals based on our PAT test.
