Wearable arts

Recently we have started wearable arts. Wearable arts is a project where you have a theme and have to create a piece of wearable arts. Our theme is the future with a West Coast flavour.

At the moment we are making small versions of our Idea and finding ways to make it interesting.

My group might do something about whitebait and something.

I am looking forward to seeing the final piece of art.

This reminded me of when our school did wearable arts at the end of last year we made a samurai suit out of a box and computer keys spray painted.

there is no picture of anything though could you add some pictures nextime or even a video so people that don't know what the wearable arts is can have a better idea.

    great job

  4. Hey Franklin! My name is Chloe a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model School!
Well done! I like how you have described what your wearable arts is like.
Next time you could add some photos in for your process, or make a drawing of what it will look like. Did you make a plan?

If so you could add it in to this blog post so then we could get a better idea of it.
Its kind of funny because last week it was maths week and we had a choice of making bridge , making a new playground out of paper and wearable maths.

My friends and I were in a group and we chose wearable maths and we made this super cool dress! If you visited my blog you could see what it is.
Well done, cant wait to see the finished product. Im sure it will be awesome!

  6. Kia Ora!
My name is Maddison and I really enjoyed your blog post.
I am a year 7 student at Yaldhurst Model School.

I think to improve you could add in something like a DLO ( Digital Learning Object) I have been learning a lot about blogs lately and found that this blog would be a perfect feedback blog, this is so you can ask for feedback before you finish to make improvements.

I would really like you to add in some photos of what you have done so far. It would also be cool of you to explain how you made it so incase people get really inspired by your blog they could take you advice and work on it. I would really like to try this one day.

What are some of your main ideas so far?
    Thanks!
    -Maddie.

  7. Kia Ora Franklin,
my name is Jedi and nI am a year eight in rimu class.
As soon as I heard you had made a post about wearable art, I decided that I had to check it out. Because I love art, as well as fashion.
I love that in your introduction you have said what exactly wearable art is, and talked about what your group might be working on. Although it would have been nice if you had maybe put in a photo, or talked about how it might be worn.

This post reminded me of just last week, it was maths week here at Yaldhurst. And my BFF's and I decided to create a dress, there is a post about this on my blog if you wanted to find out more.

I absolutely can't wait to see your final product.
