Billy Slater chip and chase
Billy Slater chip and chase is written by a rugby league player called Billy Slater. The book is about a boy named Liam who plays league for the Ravens. He loves league but his parents are quite strict.
One day when he failed to present some school work at his school his dad banned him from playing league until he shows that he can finish his work. The Ravens made it into the semi-final but Liam wasn't allowed to play. He then had to find one of the players in his team to help him with his school work and in return he would help him with his league skills.
In the end Liam completed his work and his dad let him play in the final. It was down to the last seconds of the game and he needed to convert a try to win but he failed. I liked this book but I was supersized that in the end he missed the kick.
Kia ora Franklin. It sounds like a great book that I want to read since it is about my favorite sport rugby league and Billy Slater is one of my favorite rugby league players. Also I cant wait to read about how Liam missed the kick to see how shocking it was and you could please not write to much because it will be a big spoiler. Apart from that poroporoaki (goodbye).
