This week we took a visit to Shantytown to learn about what it was like in 1866. We did stuff about court cases and we all had a role to play, I was a jury. The case was Mr Owen Wright had lost his watch at a hotel and was drinking at the time. Then his table was cleaned by a lady called Jane Simmons and after that he didn't see his watch . There were lots of other details but over all I thought that Jane was innocent and the jury decided all together that she was. We found at the end we were right. WE also got robbed by this guy with a gun and he took the gold. We had to tell the policeman the details to track him down. My favorite thing about going to Shantytown is getting robbed. My least favorite thing was to be dressed up like old people.
