TRASH

By Andy Mulligan

This was a great book, and super exciting.
The book was about three boys from Manilla named Gardo, Rat and Raphael who lived at the Behala dumpsite.  They were very poor and they had to collect certain types of rubbish to make money in order to survive. Life was very tough for them.

But, one day they were very fortunate and found a wallet with money inside.  Not only was there money but there was also a note with some strange numbers on it that they didn’t understand.  Quickly it became they were into something deep because the police were after the same note.  The police were mean and not the good guys we think that they should be, especially to poor dumpsite boys.  The boys go on a dangerous mission to discover what the note means, and try to understand understand why the police want the note so badly.

I liked it because it was an exciting book to read with lots of risks that the boys took.  It made me think that not everyone is so lucky in life.  And that some people that have lots of money and power can be greedy and only look after themselves. You should read this book!
