Hockey

This week my West Coast hockey team are travelling to Blenheim for a hockey tournament against Moubrough and Nelson under 13 a-teams. We leave on Saturday and play on 1 on Saturday and the other on Sunday as well. We will play 1 game against each team. This is my third and final year of -13 and I am looking forward to it. 

This is a tournament to prepare for the big tournament in Omaru. The big tournament is against Cantubury and Otago teams as well.  

I hope our team does well because alot of our players ar eon their last year. 

Netball

This week I played Netball for Grey Main. We beat St Pats in the final 18-16. I played the whole game at GD and WA. I like Wing Attack the most because that it what I played the whole tournament in basically. 

These are the teams we played Awahono, Cobden, St Pats, Karoro (semi final), St Pats (final). We won all the games and the closest was the final. 

I enjoyed playing in the Netball but it was kind of weird. 

Millions

Chapter 1-2


Millions sounds like its set in England. The main character is Damian and he has a brother called Anthony and a dad. They all sound like they are missing their mother and wife. We know that the mum is not living there but we don’t know why. Damian and Anthony have made a friend called freckle neck who is very large. Anthony seems rather strange and may be damaged by his mother leaving or not being with them. Damian loves Saints and can name lots of Patron Saints. On Damian's first day at school he strives to be excellent and tries to stand out by talking about saints. Then trys to stand out by being silent like one of the saints.





One of my predictions is that the audience will soon find out about what happened to the mother or maybe find the money.

maths

This week we were working on adding and subtracting integers. It was fun but a bit easy. Next week we will be doing percentages, decimals and fractions.  

For our integers work we were looking at how we could us integers in real life scenario's and we came up with we would use integers with money, sea levels and temperature. 

Bonus reflection T4 W6

This week for Kiwi kids news quiz i got 90% accurate and for my typing results I got 22 words per minute and 65 percent accurate. Last week I did better.

This week for numeracy and topic we did this thing on google maps we had to find the top 18 tsunamis that have ever occurred. We haven't quite finished yet

This week for writing we did a Earthquake recount because of the recent earthquakes that have been happening recently. It was quite hard to do a long one because I slept through it.



This week for word work I chose to do fancy letters again because I like do it.


This week for reading our task was to read about wisdom teeth and then put the information in a Explanation burger.

Charlie and the chocolate factory is about a boy named Charlie who lives with two sets of grand parents and his mum and his dad. He is very poor and finds it hard to get food. One day in the gutter he found a coin and the first thing that came to mind was to ge chocolate. So he bought to bars of chocolate and one had the last golden ticket in side. From that moment on his life changed there was no longer that empty feeling in his a tummy.

Richie McCaw 148

The Richie McCaw book is a rugby based book about his tests that he played. He played 148 tests for NZ and he captained 110 of them. Both of them are rugby records. In the book it sometimes has one of his quotes from the game like "the world cup is just around the corner that is to remain my focus." I like that book because my favorite sport is rugby and because I like hearing what it's like to be in the All Blacks. I recommend this to people that are in To rugby or people that want to know a bit about Richie McCaw's career.
