Maths

Today for maths we did adding with improper fractions and mixed numbers. I already had a reasonably good idea about them so I did the tasks that we were set. There was a year 11 one a year 8 one and a year 5 one and I passed them all. I kind of liked doing that maths.  Image result for maths

Tennis

This week for tennis I have to play club champs against a boy from Hokitika. I won the last three times but it was pretty close. He is a year nine and is in the West Coast tennis team with me.  I have not lost a club game since the start of last year. I will also be going to a Canterbury tournament in the holidays. I have gone to 2 Canterbury tournaments and came second and Third.

I hope I win club champs.

League Trials

Today league trials are happening. Mr B our Deputy Principal and the coach will select a team to go to Christchurch. Last year we were undefeated. I hope I make the team. I play league for Waro Rakau. Our team lost in the semi final last year but won the year before. They also changed the grading to odd numbers which is international rules. Image result for rugby league

Diary of a rugby champ

Author - Shamini Flint

Diary of a rugby champ is a book about a boy named Marcus who is not sporty but his dad is certain that he will find the sport that he is good at. Marcus's dad is a self help author and Marcus never seems to relate to his dads books. One day his dad signs him up for the club rugby team Marcus was not happy because he thought he was going to get hurt badly. In the end he manages to get the school bully on his side and manage to end up as a rugby champ.

My favorite bit in the book is when Marcus scores the winning drop kick and then his dad says rugby is dangerous but the way you kicked the ball makes me think you world be great at taekwondo.

Double Down

Double Down
Author - Jeff Kinney
Rating - 4 and a half stars out of 5
Double down is one of the diary of a wimpy kid series. It is a good book. The main characters are Gregg, Rowley, Greg's mum, dad and brothers.
My favorite part in the book is when he get lots of candy but his pig eats it all and the pig gets sick and he gets told of. I recommend it to people that like reading books with funny thing in it.
