Week 4 reflection,

LITERACY
Charlotte's web
This week we had to write a news paper article based on the part of the story when Lurvy discovered the writing on the web. I found it hard to make it sound like a news paper artical. Here is my writing.

26 5 2016

Early this morning a miracle occurred just outside of town in Mr Zuckerman's barn. Mr Zuckerman said that It was a cold and frosty morning in the barn when his worker Lurvy came into the barn with the slops.He couldn’t help but see a word in the centre of the web he took a closer look and saw that it there was the words SOME PIG he was sure that it wasn’t possible for there to be words in a web so he called Mr Zuckerman. Soon people were coming from all over the place to see the miracle that had occurred in Mr Zuckerman's barn.

“ I couldn’t believe it when I saw it he said it was almost like the spider had super powers” said Lurvy Mr Zuckerman's worker.

“I don’t think I’m having that pig for Christmas” said Mr Zuckerman.

Mr Zuckerman’s also said that it was just thought to be a common house spider.

I learnt how to add in fractions and how to do a Screen castafy.

CROSS COUNTRY

On Wednesday I went to cross country the track was very muddy and part of it was narrow. you had to sprint at the start to be in the narrow bit first. I came 2nd witch means I go to Canterbury to race. The person who bet me in cross country came from Caramea.

term 2 week 3 reflection

This is my Charlotte's writing
week 3

We had to write a small part of Charlotte's web in our own words that described your favorite or least favorite character.

I found it quite hard to make it sound like it was in the book.




This term instead of key comes we have banqer. The teachers gives you money if you do something that is helpful or kind but you also have to pay for things like sitting on the couch.
You can also get fined for doing stuff like forgetting your chrome book.

 This is how much money I have in my expenses
I like having banqer because I like money.


This week we have learnt how to use with decimals here is an example.

4.7 + 3.9 = 8.6

Week 2 Term 2 Reflection

We have been reading Charlotte's web for one of the activities we had to say what spiders do where they live and what they eat.

This is what I wrote.

Food

Most spiders eat flies they catch them in webs. Some spider eat bugs and insects as well. People like daddy long legs  because they eat other spiders around the house.

Habitat

Spiders live in lots of different places Around the world. They like places with lots of food and hardly any predators. Some spiders like a cold climate and some like a warm climate.

Appearance

Spiders have eight legs. Spiders can have up to twelve eyes.

Some spiders are very hairy. Spider can be lots of different colours or sizes but most are brown.

We had to right about Mr Zuckerman's barn

The barn was as big as a Elephant and as tall as a giraffe.  As I came in the barn geese screeched at me and told me to get out. The Cows were giants.The windows were still staring at me. I quickly got out the barn it stank like poo.

Board game reviews

In our family we play lots of games so I thought I should post reviews of the games that I've played.

BLOKUS

This is a game for game for a maximum of 4 players.




Each piece is broken into sections made of 1-5 small squares which creates different shaped tiles.
At the start of the game you place one of your pieces in corner of the board. All your must touch at the corner. You take turns until you have no pieces left. The aim of the the game is to have the least amount of sections left.
Blokus is a game of strategy and people often get annoyed when other players get in their way.
I Like the game because you can block other people.

Week 1 Reflection

This is my ANZAC art.

We have been working on things that have something to do with world war one. We also learnt how to blend colors together.        we used black paper to make the ground and the person.

This the slide show is what I did with Kaleb and Oliver.


we found it very hard to come up with postive things about war.


We chose mascots to do a slide about this is what we found out.


That is what we learn't.

Favorite Christmas food-Franklin's Christmas mice

Meringue mice with ice cream, chocolate sauce and raspberries 

At Christmas time we have lots of berries, ice cream and pavlova so I decided to make this.

Christmas in Hungary 

.Hungary is in eastern Europe and the capital is Budapest.
.In Hungary, Christmas Eve is celebrated more than Christmas and is called Szent-este.
.The main Christmas meal is made with cabbage, fish and bread. This meal is called Beigli.
.They also have gingerbread that is wrapped in Christmas paper.
.Most people go to church after their Christmas meal.
