Muhammad Ali dies at 74


Muhammad Ali was a famous boxer who was also known for his confident personality. One of his famous quotes was "I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee". He was heavy weight champion of the world 3 times during his career. He started boxing when he was 12 and he finally retired when he was 39. His famous fights include The Rumble in the Jungle vs George Forman and the Thriller in Manila vs Joe Frazier.
He was born Cassius Clay but changed his name to Muhammad Ali because he thought Cassius was a slave name and he converted to Islam. At one stage he was striped of his title for refusing to join the army to fight in Viet Nam.
Recently he died of a disease called complications of Parkinson's probably brought on by repeated head injures during his boxing career.
